It amazes me how many people try to paint Wanda as a villain in this scene, when:
a) she is not actually hurting Vision at all.
b) despite that, it clearly pains her to be doing this to him
c) she is escaping from unlawful imprisonment. What is evil about that?
Even her iconic “I can’t control their fear, only my own” line is her way of saying that she is done listening to what the public thinks of her and is deciding to be a hero despite their condemnation.
